Just steps from your vacation villa you can book a wide variety of watersports activities and fishing trips at Leeward Marina.

EXCURSIONS
Take an eco-tour by kayak, snorkel the shallow waters of Mangrove Cay, explore Iguana Island, do some bird watching. Rent a jet-ski for an hour or a day. Take a guided tour, search for shells and sand dollars. Sail away for a day or half-day, snorkle, swim, explore. Enjoy a private deserted island drop-off. Take a short "Beach Cruise" to see the iguanas and snorkel the reef. Visit plantation ruins on North Caicos. Explore the Caribbean's largest caves on Middle Caicos. Cruise by the island homes of Bruce Willis, Keith Richards and Donna Karan on Parrot Cay. Go fishing for bonefish, grouper, snapper or blue marlin. Glow worm cruises anybody? Many of the above activities can be arranged from Leeward Marina.

DIVING
Contact one of many dive operators to dive the WALLS, West Caicos, French Cay, Northwest Point, Pine Cay or Grace Bay. Nitrox available. Some specialize in private charters or small groups.

GOLF
Within 1.6 miles of Acacia Villa, Provo Golf and Country Club offers an eighteen hole (par 72) championship course designed by Karl Litten. The course is a combination of lush greens and fairways, rugged limestone outcroppings and freshwater lakes. A four tee position system offers a formidable test for golfers of all calibers. Greens fee $160 p.p. for 18 holes with shared cart. Rental clubs, packages, Pro shop, driving range and professional instruction are available.

SHOPPING
Retail stores are concentrated in several areas of Providenciales. You will find the largest variety in Grace Bay at Caicos Cafe Plaza, La Petite Place, Ports of Call, The Saltmills and Regent Village just 3 miles from the vacation villa. Unique to the Islands and locally made items you may wish to seek out include: Conch shells, Conch pearls, fanner grass baskets, straw hats and bags, rag dolls, hammered metal art, Middle Caicos grits, Turks Island salt, Turks & Caicos Island Roasted Coffee, shell art, local music CDs, Cave Rum White or Gold and locally brewed Turks Head Beer.

BOAT RENTALS
Most boats are rented with a captain who knows the waters due to our shallow and treacherous reef system. If you are familiar with the waters you can rent without a captain. It is possible to rent a sport boat from Sun & Fun Seasports at the Caicos Marina & Shipyard on Provo's south side. Skiffs are rented by Abuv-It-All at Ocean Club Resort on the north shore. Both will rent by the hour or by the day.
